Tech Arts Update – 12/09/08

There is a lot going on with Tech Arts at Our Saviour’s these days. For starters we have a wonderful team of about 35 volunteers who I have been privileged to work with over the last 5 years. We have seven worship services that span across two campuses each weekend and they are scheduled to cover the sound board and visual presentations (MediaShout) at all of them. I could not do what I do without their help.

Some things to look forward to in 2009:

• Joint training with Good Shepherd Lutheran Church’s tech team
• Electronic Bulletin board in the Fellowship Center of the main campus
• Built-in, secure, stage storage on the stage at Celebration
• Audio and Video of weekly sermons brought back online
• Intentional planning for the “look of” the stage at Celebration as well as the sanctuary

There are many more things on my list for 2009 but those are some that I feel comfortable saying out loud at this time. This weblog is also new and I’m excited to see where it goes. It’s primary focus will be on the advances in technology and how we are implementing them here at Our Saviour’s.
