Notes from Pastor Mark’s Message:

• When something looks easy… know that every step is planned.
• Instead of demanding the colt, Jesus said to tell them the LORD needs the colt… and he’ll return it later.
• Jesus didn’t take… he borrowed.
• From the east was a man on a donkey, from the west was a military might on stallions
• Two ways to enter into a relationship… peacefully or warlike.
• Jesus comes to town during passover, when a lot of Jews would be there… massive impact! Massive exposure! (everything is planned)
• OUR GOD SAVES!
• People along Jesus’ parade route had the completely wrong idea of how he was going to save them. They thought he was going to build an army!
• The put their hopes for salvation… not in the who but the how.
• The challenge for us is putting our hope in the who and letting the who decide how.
• Not God give me this… God give me that… but God Save Me!
• You need to make a commitment this week… tell your boss you need to be off Thursday and Friday night so that you can go to church.
• God rock out world this week, show us who you are.

CHALLENGE FOR NEXT WEEK: Bring your atheists, your un-churched, your de-churched, your agnostics, the broken, the needy, people angry at their denominations!
