So I Stop… I Look Up…

I love to ski. It is my most favorite winter sport. I get so caught up in the thrill of barreling down the mountain. I focus in on what my legs and skis are doing and what route I’m about to take. My mind zeros in on the act of skiing that I sometimes miss what’s going on around me.

So I stop… I look up… and this is what I see.

I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to ski in Winter Park, Colorado for a number of years. The view is truly one of God’s greatest creations. How often do we stop to look at what God has done around us? I’ve been doing more and more of this lately.

Stopping… looking… enjoying the wonder of God’s creation.

The snowboarder adds a unique perspective on the vastness of what you see.

Yes he does. That snowboarder is my friend Brandon.
