There are a number of organizations performing relief effort down in Haiti right now.
ELCA Disaster Response partners have survived the quake and are already working to serve the people of Haiti.
This weekend in worship we’ll be asking that you make a donation to the ELCA Haiti Relief efforts.
It’s only been 5 days since Christmas Eve, and we’ve already raised $610 for charity: water!!! I can’t believe it! I am so happy and amazed at your generosity! According to charity: water… we’ve already served clean drinking water to 30 people! That is simply amazing.
On Monday I sent an email out to over 100 of my friends and family asking for their help with my goal. I’ve never been a fan of SPAM emails and I didn’t want to be that guy that sends out emails asking for money. But I did, and let me tell you why.
I feel so passionately about this that I don’t care what people think about me. Ultimately… I just want more people in a developing nation to have access to clean drinking water. That’s it… it’s that simple.
